Billy Purnell is one of Southern California’s most sought after voice teachers, and his list of clients includes Major Label and Indie Label stars, television and film stars, Disney and Nickelodeon stars, Broadway actors, touring groups, worship leaders, voice teachers and other professional voice users. He is known internationally, having taught across the United States and Europe, Australia, Asia and the Caribbean.
He is the creator of the “Ultimate Voice Training for Singers” course – one of the longest-selling voice training home study courses on the Internet – which has sold in over 75 countries around the world.
Billy has taught private lessons and workshops around the globe. He has taught and coached 4 different winners of CBS Television’s Star Search, 19 contestants and five winners of NBC-TV’s America’s Most Talented Kids, and 4 winners of the LA Music Center’s Spotlight Award, as well as performers on Showtime at the Apollo, America’s Got Talent, Glee, The Glee Project, The Voice, The X Factor, American Idol, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Queen Latifah Show, The Maury Povich Show, and more.
He has been vocal instructor to the Young Americans, America Sings, The Fender Center for the Performing Arts, the Hollywood Pop Academy, Talent Boot Camp, the School of Pop, The Biz Music School and Deborah Gibson’s Camp Electric Youth, as well as Calvary Chapel’s East and West Coast Worship Conferences.
